The acting industry: Everybody's somebody, but who are you?

In the acting industry, everybody is "somebody." C'mon. You know it's true. Think about it: how many writers, producers, filmmakers, and directors have you met over the last 6 months? Probably too many to count! Not to knock anyone's title or calling, but as I sit here, I'm reminded that I hate when people treat others based on their titles, money, or connections. It makes me so frustrasted because its a dog-eat-dog world and the industry is cut throat (but it doesn't have to be). Remember: it's nice to be nice.

EVERYBODY IS SOMEBODY... whether they have a title or not. Never suck up to anybody because of what they "say" they can offer you. At the end of the day, Christ Jesus will elevate you and when He does, no man can take you down.

So, at your next industry mixer with entertainment professionals, ask yourself: Who am I? Are you a desperate actor willing to do anything to get to the top or are you a person of integrity?
